NARRATIVE TEXT A folktale is a narrative text that tells a story that is mainly used to entertain or amuse the reader or the listener. As most narratives, folktales usually consist of three parts: Orentation this part can usually be found in the first paragraph. In this part, the writer introduces the characters and the setting (time or places) of the story. Compplication(s) in this part, the main character faces a complication or crisis. Resulotion(s) this part tells how complication or crisis is resolved. if there is more than one complication, there might be more than one resolution.
